Hi I'm Joe Wurm, I am a commercial leader with a proven track record in sales, innovation, and product development, driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth for companies ranging from $5M to $100M+. I am the founder of BlueForge Innovation.
I spent the early part of my career in sales and marketing, where I established and grew a packaging company as the Managing Vice President. Throughout my career in the industrial and consumer product industries, I have created annual double-digit revenue through business startup growth and launched a new pet product portfolio that generated a significant increase in company revenue in the first year.
I am an expert in aligning innovation with business strategy to secure competitive advantage, and transforming ideas into successful products.
I am an executive leader, serving on senior leadership teams, adept at navigating manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory challenges while driving scalable business growth. I have been recognized for merging visionary thinking with technical precision to bring groundbreaking products to market.
My super-power is that I help CEOs and their teams transform their ideas into million-dollar businesses. Building new innovations, developing new business, being driven and focused, with an exceptional ability to bring solution-oriented growth to business challenges is what i do.
I have always loved the creative process, where I get to build things. I consider myself a Zero Gravity Thinker, where I allow my experiences, skill set, and various interests help me connect the dots to the problems I set out to solve.
What sets me apart is I don't have to know the how at the start of an idea, because I am have an exceptional ability to solve problems, so connecting the dots comes naturally to me, and figuring it out quickly is one of my unique skills.

I've had the wonderful opportunity to work in the pet industry where I have developed and launched over 50 products including treats, supplements, grooming products and toys enriching the lives of pets.
As a lifelong learner passionate about growth as a pathway to success, my passion for growth extends to my personal hobbies as I grow my knowledge of leadership and teaching leadership values with the Maxwell Leadership certification that I hold.
What Inspires Me
My pups are my constant companions that never leave me. This connection is a big part of who I am. Whenever I get a chance, I am with my pups, playing fetch to give them exercise, creating enrichment games to challenge their minds, walking the neighborhood and trails to socialize with other pets.
This time with my pups inspires me to connect the creative process to come up with new ideas to create new products. Spending time with my pups helps me understand the pet parent experience giving me insight into how products work and helping me understand why some ideas may not work, or how to overcome challenges to working out the details.
Time with my pups is one of my greatest joys, and ispires me to create.
